Pittsburgh Riverhounds Soccer Stadium,
PITTSBURGH, PA
CLIENT OBJECTIVES
Looking to create the stadium to accommodate various year-round sporting events, concerts, games, and training programs, Millcraft Industries was in need of electrical and safety installations to allow the facility to meet the standards of full operation. Under tremendous pressure, the stadium is constricted to a fixed time frame of only 6 months to have the scope of work completed.
VALUE DELIVERED
The Scalise Industries team is highly-trained professionals that adapt promptly and efficiently to a client’s requests and schedule requirements by utilizing communication, problem solving, and years of experience. Partnering with Scalise Industries, Millcraft Industries placed their trust with Scalise to complete the electrical and fire protection installations needed for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Soccer Stadium. This multi-functional stadium looks to reinforce Station Squares’ position as a highly-desired travel destination. Within a brief timeframe, Scalise was able to meet the challenging 6 month construction schedule seamlessly, allowing for the stadium to open as planned and on time. Staying within budget for this project required no unforeseen costs, interruptions, or comprises to the client’s intended objectives. Pleased with the work Scalise has performed, the client awarded additional electrical installations, not stated in the initial contract.
SOLUTIONS
Scalise was able to assure the client that their fixed 6 month construction schedule will be met by recruiting Scalise’s team of experts who are organized, prepared, and dedicated. A 1600 amp 3-phase 480 volt electrical system, fire alarms, security, sound/audio, lighting, and visual systems were installed in the rest rooms, concessions, and open bleacher seating areas. Scalise’s methodology and procedures allowed the technicians to meet the demanding build schedule. Millcraft has expanded the contract with Scalise to now include 1200 amp electrical services for the chiller, temporary lighting, power/audio, and visual systems on the outdoor ice skating arena that is currently being designed.
